*Yawn*...
I'm so tired. The day was so exhausting. I went to that Article 23 rally with a bunch of people, and the turn out was just... WOW! They had estimated a turn out of 80,000 to 100,000 people tops, but there were 350,000 (press figure) of us out! Actually, I personally think the figure's over 400,000... it was sheer madness down in Vic Park.
It all started in Central. I met up with the gang there and we took the tube... and oh my goodness... I'd never seen it packed the way it was. It was awful for me... because I'm a little claustrophobic... and it was just so... PACKED! It was packed all the way to Causeway Bay.... and we were stuck on Kingston Street for almost 3 hours! We had only managed to move about... 6 feet in 3 hours... So awful too, in the heat (33 degrees Celsius). But... we made it... and did our part (though we cheated a little)... and became part of history. Pretty neat...
Loads of pictures from the day... I'll upload them when they start coming in... it's pretty cool, we have the day captured on film from 3 different angles.. It'll be so cool to see them all together.
