*HK*
I leave HK in 11 hours. All in all, I think I had a pretty good stay this x'mas. Except for the getting sick part, it was rather pleasant. It didn't rain at all the whole entire month I was here (well, I think it was spitting a bit when I was in the movies the other day, but that doesn't count). I got to explore Kowloon-side a bit, but I have to admit... I'm DEFINITELY a HK Island girl.
I have to face it, I'm never going to be able to make new friends in HK that I really enjoy spending time with. There are only 4 people here that I've known for a while and I really genuinely like hanging out with. I guess that's what makes me love Toronto and New York so much... I'm able to make new friends easily over there AND enjoy hanging out with new people. If I could just combine the friends aspect and the work aspect... then I wouldn't hesitate about coming back here to live for a while.
Oh... I did something pretty drastic to my hair today! I think it looks awesome... but I think some people are going to comment about the much shorter hair. It's not THAT short, it's just past my shoulders with LOADS of different shades of red highlights in... WICKED!
Gotta pack. I have to make sure I'm prepared for the freezing temperatures I'm returning to. I'm looking forward to seeing the snow though! I LOVE SNOW!~
