*Grades*
The school year is officially over. My grades have finally been posted to the web, and I ROCK! I've managed an A- average this academic year! (Yay!) The biggest surprise was from Discourse Analysis... I was expecting a B, at most a B+, since I was really struggling with the course until the last half of the semester... I love seeing A's on my transcript!
Chris and I have been clearing his yard in preparation for the big BBQ he's having at his place tomorrow. In the process of clearing out the bits of lumber in his neighbour's yard (no one lives there, so we're using that yard as well), Chris stepped on a nail. It went through his shoe and punctured the bottom of his foot. Chris and I now have matching puncture wounds on the soles of our feet. His just barely pierced the skin though... whereas mine went almost through my foot (3 years ago). He was whining like a baby though, convinced that the foot'll fester and they'll have to amputate his foot. I took him to the doctor's and had him get a tetanus shot... He's still convinced his foot's going to fall off...
Going to go shower and clean my room. We're off to a Yankees vs. Mariners game tonight. Secretly, I'm rooting for the Mariners... but I live in NY now, and I feel like I'm betraying my city by doing so... So I'm pulling on my *bling-bling* Yankees visor on tonight and cheering the Yanks on! Go YANKEES! (Go Mariners!)~
