*A piece of home*...
A piece of home came in the form of an old friend from undergrad. I just got home from a small (5 of us) gathering of some people I went to university with. One just flew in on a quick trip and is leaving... tomorrow.... and we thought we'd just get together for old time's sake. Gosh, you don't realise how much a person has/hasn't changed until you see them again 2 or 3 years later. We've all grown up and found work. I'm really happy that all my friends have jobs and seem to be content with their lives. Everyone's healthy... and that's such a blessing in itself. We all agreed that we'd like to go back and live that life we had 4 years ago.... no worries, late nights... endless feasts (my place)...
I'm still trying to work things out so I can officially enrol at Columbia. I may actually have to either do a January start or defer for yet ANOTHER year. Either ways though... I'm definitely going to be in Canada in August... YAY!
Ugh... gotta sleep... oh... party on tomorrow night (Saturday night)! Be ready to move out at 11pm in LKF! Yee-HA!~
