*Huh?*
Uh, what happened to autumn? We've somehow skipped autumn all together and jumped from summer to winter. It's FREEZING here!
I had a really cool night yesterday. I've met some really nice people here, and one of my new friends is Greek. She's super nice and invited a bunch of us to Astoria (Queens) where there's a huge Greek community there. We went last night and had a GREAT Greek dinner and then went to a lounge. I've now moved Greek food to the top of my list of favourite foods... it's so incredibly yummy! They can take something really yucky... like Aubergines and make it into the yummiest thing I've ever had! We had loads of fried cheese last night too! Who knew you could fry cheese? Lyssi's super cool, and I'm determined to go to Greece and Cyprus next summer... woohoo!
Something weird's happening here too. I went shopping yesterday for some winter clothes with Amy, and we were at Gap trying on some corduroy skirts... and for some reason... I'm now a size 1! Never in my life would I have thought I'd be able to get into a size 1. That's pretty amazing... I love how suddenly, I don't feel big and frumpy over here like how I felt in HK... It's such a nice liberating feeling...
Gotta get back to my reading... Loads to do before my week starts up again. Going to watch crazy people launch themselves off a ramp into the Hudson River tomorrow... Yee-ha!~
