*Already?*
I've only got 2 more days of vacation time until summer session starts... Where did all my time off go?? I'm crying my eyes out because I feel like I've been robbed of vacation time... *sob*
The weather's been crazy here in the city. It's boiling one day, and freezing the next. Rita, Shawn and I went to Jersey to do some shopping yesterday and it was boiling in the morning and freezing by the time we got back into the city. Jersey Gardens is a HUGE outlet mall, and Rita and I lost Shawn within 10 minutes of arriving. I didn't buy much though! I'm quite pleased with myself. The most important purchases I made were a wedding present for my friend Sam, and a freakin' awesome watch for Chris as a going away/grad present. It's such an amazing watch. It's one of those chrono watches with all the funky dials on it... and the best thing is that you can keep track of two time zones (one for mine and one for his). I kinda wanted to keep the watch for myself... but it's too manly for me... but it's one pretty darn cool watch.
This past weekend was just one big barbeque. Saturday's barbeque was great... then it was deja vu on Sunday when we realised that we still had enough weiners and patties to feed an army... so we called in for reinforcement and barbequed our little hearts out.
Today is Chris' commencement... I'm spending the entire day getting ready for it. The 'rents are coming in and we'll all be going out to an early dinner before heading over to St. John the Divine at 6... Who has dinner at 4pm?? AMY: 3 guesses where we're going for dinner! Hint: Chris' Dad has been talking about cream puffs for the last 3 months!
