*Games*...
I just watched my weekly dose of "Sex and the City". The theme for the episode was 'games people play' - "Do we have to play games for relationships to work?"...
I'm not a fan of playing games. However, by hesitating to speak up... I am sometimes viewed as a game-player. I'm just scared to speak up... scared of rejection, scared of the truth... what have you...
I'm knackered. I can't remember the last time I got "enough" sleep...
Time for "transcript of the week" again. This comes, courtesy of my afternoon class today (Saturday):
Ms. Olivia: ...this is Ms. Olivia's mother's day card for her mummy.
Student: Ms. Olivia, do you have a mummy? Are you going to give the card to her?
Ms. Olivia: Yes, sweetie. Ms. Olivia has a mummy and I'm going to give her the card.
Student: Ms. Olivia? How old are you? Are you a mummy? My mummy is forty-one years old. I think you're forty-two.
Ms. Olivia: #(*%&@*%^@*&@$%*@&!
What is it with these kids? Do I look old? I know I've been tired-looking lately, but that doesn't age me by over 20 years, does it?
Time to sleep... Golf again tomorrow... I'm training up to play in my first major competition this summer...~
