*Oh my GOSH!*
I just caught the latest headline off of CNN - "CNN projection: Davis out, Schwarzenegger wins".
I wonder if Californians really DO realise what they're doing????? They've just voted for Mr. Universe to represent their state! But then... I guess it IS home to Hollywood, and who better to represent them than a movie star with a super-connected wife?
I have NEVER in my life done so much homework! I sat in my chair all day today, working on my lesson plans and my presentation for tomorrow afternoon. I'm so proud of myself! My bum's gone flat, but hey... I got work done! Woohoo! Who knew that this day would ever come? I need some new music though, I've exhausted my entire collection (all 10 CDs) in one day. Does anyone have any suggestions? Just not dance music... and not too chill either. I need a good mix of both, because if there's too much of one... I get distracted. Nice to vary it a bit...
I'm going to a reception at the Haaaaarvard Club (Harvard Club NYC) on Friday, and I have nothing to wear! I knew it would be smart, but I officially got word yesterday that it has to be "business attire". Jeeez! I've got loads of skirts, but since this season the ultra-short mini is in... all my skirts end just below my butt... NOT exactly business-like. Despite some people's encouragement, I'm NOT going to do more shopping. I think I'm going to wear dress-pants, a tuxedo shirt and a scarf... a little "old", but presentable, I suppose...
Grrr.... gotta get back to my writing. My hand's cramping from all the writing I have to do! Even my computer can't keep up with all the writing I have to do! I'm a month into school, and my printer has already run out of ink. *groan*...~
