I have a massive headache. I drank too much at dinner tonight. What a day of socialising... Although the average age of the people I spent the day with comes out to be... around 55? It was an interesting day.
Played a wicked round of golf today. I shot way below my handicap again, so it looks like my handicap is definitely coming down. Today was the first time in ages that I played with my Dad, and he was impressed.
Dinner was interesting. The conversation was great. The great thing about "hanging out" with old people, is that they have impeccable taste in wine and can afford it! This group was made up of people who are in the "loop", so a lot of really interesing bits of information came up. An uncle of mine introduced me to some pretty potent stuff tonight. Ever heard of Kummel? It's this liquer that really delivers a swift kick to the senses. The alcohol content's comparable to that of Vodka... it tastes like syrup with Vodka. Whoa... I took a sip and was gasping for a while...
Too much wine, too much Kummel... I'm going to bed now to sleep it off. Notte!~
