*Zzzzzz*...
i watched matrix: reloaded tonight. uh... wow? i definitely need to watch it again. why, you ask? probably because i missed a good 15 minute chunk of the movie. the movie started rather abruptly, and the beginning was kinda slow and boring... about 15 minutes into the movie, i dozed off. i thought i just closed my eyes for a second. i didn't realise i had missed a whole chunk until the credits, and my friend asked me about something... and i just said: HUH? i didn't even know that the oracle appeared in the movie until i got home and read some reviews of the movie. uh... oops?
the fight scenes were definitely a tad too long... and the slo-mo thing really got old pretty quick. there was just too much going on in that movie, but as sam and i were discussing just now... this movie definitely can't stand on its own. it's good tactic, because now... i have to go and see matrix:revolutions.
speaking of matrix: revolutions... apparently no-one knows that there's a preview of 'revolutions' after the credits. the theatre was sold-out, and only 14 of us stayed for the preview...
and also speaking of being sold-out... SARS definitely did not affect opening night of 'reloaded'. all three theatres were sold-out for the 7:30 showing... ALL THREE! pretty amazing, considering when i went and watched a movie last week, there were only around 20 of us in the place.
sleepy time... i'm so tired. though i don't have classes anymore... i've got 3 more assignments due next week and work's starting to pick up. on top of all this, i'm at the gym everyday now 'cause i'm training for a competition this summer... i've got to "strengthen my core"... and boy oh boy... is that core sore now... *wince*~
