Mr. Universe's victory speech was so sweet! It's nice to see a man recognize his partner's efforts in anything. Yeah, so what if she's a Kennedy? She stood by her man and he publicly acknowledged her for it. Yeah... I'm sure he also had speechwriters write that, but hey... he SAID it, didn't he?
I guess despite my current will to forge forward and become some super-woman in the field of Education and Children's rights, I'd love the opportunity to be half of a power-couple... sorta like Maria Schriver. I guess though, if the opportunity doesn't ever come... I'd be happy with my original plans to live in a simple home with a porch and a white picket fence all 'round.
It's getting late... and I'm speaking out of my... you-know-what now. Time to pack up my work and call it a night.~
