*So tired*
I'm so tired. My sleep schedule's screwed and I haven't been able to get much done here in Hong Kong. I've got all my research material together for my Master's project (thesis), but I don't have a real direction. On top of that, I'm afraid that I can't be completely objective about this topic I'm writing about.
We had a bit of a family day today (well, minus Sarah). The first 15 minutes of our "family day" was mum complaining about dad's habits. The next 15 minutes was me trying to change the subject so mum'll lay off dad and trying to keep dad calm. After that though, we had a fun day. We went car shopping and we've pretty much narrowed it down to 3 options (there's one more we want to look at though - the Porsche Cayenne!).
We've narrowed the field down to 2 SUVs and 1 sedan. The sedan's really really cool (Nissan Cefiro). Dad and I hate the shape of the car, but we all agree that the car is a really good drive and the tech part of the car is neat. The car doesn't have a key! It's just got this thin, card-thing that you keep in your pocket or wallet. As long as you're near (within reaching distance) of the car, you can use the keyless entry on the card and start the engine by turning this knob by the steering wheel. And if the card leaves the car while it's driving, it goes into lockdown mode after a couple yards! So COOL!
The 2 SUVs are the Volkswagen Touareg and the Lexus RX. We're leaning towards the Lexus because it's much cheaper than the Touareg (can't really figure out why though). The Lexus seems more luxurious... but we're going to test them both next week... so... eh.
I love car shopping. It's like shoe shopping times 10! I'm thinking of getting a car too, if I move to Hong Kong. I've decided on either the Daihatsu Copen or the Daihatsu Gino. They're so cute!
Gotta sleep. Zzzzzz...~
