*Suspicious*
Apparently, a $2000 payment to Columbia University is deemed "suspicious fraudulent activity" on my account by Visa and a freeze was put on my credit card...
WHAT??!?!? And the same amount at Gucci is not?
Anyways... It was actually a really pleasant experience, seeing as how I got to call long distance to my bank - Washington Mutual - the best bank in the world. Although the wait time was rather long (peak hour), I spoke to 3 of the nicest men in the world (can people "sound" gay?).
The freeze was lifted immediately... and I've asked them to note down that large payments to Columbia ISN'T suspicious activity on my account, but I found this little incident to be rather amusing...
I mean, seriously... Who in their right mind would pay large amounts to universities? Personally, I think 2 new Gucci handbags are much better than sitting through 36 lecture hours.
C'mon... SUSPICIOUS FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY???~
