I just got back from Rebekah's small get-together at her place. It was really nice to just sit around and sip a margarita while watching T.V. and chatting with friends. This week has been insane. I've had so much work, and it was mad sending Chris off.
I definitely have been fortunate to find such a great group of friends here in New York. I think for the first time in my life, I feel like I really fit in with these people. In the past, it had been that I only really got along with one or two people, but here... everyone's been nice. Well... of course there are exceptions...
Nothing too exciting going on. The most exciting thing that happened today was that I bought a "compact garment steamer"... which means that starting from today, I will always be wearing crisp and unwrinkled clothes! How exciting is that?? It's definitely better than my iron, because I can never find any decent surface to iron my clothes on... and I can't iron shirt sleeves for the life of me!
We're planning on going wild at Tina's birthday on Saturday. We're starting early, so I guess we're ending early... It's Karaoke (of course)... So it's going to be CRAZY!
Ugh... I've got so much work to do... Summer classes are HORRID!~
