*Bad Day*
I had a HORRID afternoon yesterday. It all started with my final errand for Chris. I had to go over to Park and 23rd to a "certain cable company" to return Chris' cable box. The wait was an hour long in a stuffy, ill-ventilated room... gross. I waited anyways, and returned the box to the nastiest woman on the face of this Earth.
On stepping out of the building, I realised it was POURING. It was raining so hard that the drains on Park Avenue couldn't drain the water in time, and Park Avenue was completely flooded. I had an umbrella, but my pants were soaked to the knee with water - I only had to walk 10 steps to the subway...
So I go over to the Meatpacking District (MePa?) to meet Channing at Pastis for dinner. As I exited the L, a pigeon decided it would be fun to use me for target practice. Thankfully, the pigeon needs more practice and missed the top of my head, but the darn thing managed to get my right shoulder, my bag and a shopping bag I was carrying... YUCK!
Yeah... I wasn't in such a great mood when I finally got to Pastis. Thank goodness the food was great and the dessert was great there. It was really nice hanging out with Channing and catching up on... Oh, some gossip... (heehee...)
